Sweetpea ‘Cupid Pink’

A small growing sweet pea suitable for growing at the front of the border or in containers or pots. A single planting will last two or three months as long as spent flowers are removed. Traditionally sweet Peas are planted on St Patrick’s Day, the 17th of March but any time from the end of February until August is fine. 200cm x spacing 15cm to 20cm.

 

 

When to sow: The end of February until August
Where to sow: Direct into the garden
Depth to sow: 8 to 12mm
Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add lime if soil is too acid.
Spacing: Between plants: 15-20cm

   
Directions:  If seed is planted at monthly intervals flowers can be had from late winter until Christmas. This strain is tolerant of hot weather. A single planting will last two or three months as long as spent flowers are removed.
