Very early bunching onion

This very early bunching onion is a cross between a bulbing onion and a spring onion. It has all the virtues of a spring onion but with a milder taste. Sow from August to March for all year round cropping.

When to sow: July to April
Where to sow: Direct sow 1cm apart in 10cm wide drills
Depth to sow: 1cm
Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add   lime if soil is too acid.
Spacing: Between plants: 1cm; Between rows: 30cm

Directions: If panted thinly enough there is no need to thin these onions. Pull them as required when they are near pencil thickness.
