Senecio cineraria ‘Cirrus’
This form of dusty miller was used a lot in the old carpet bedding schemes at the run down North Sea seaside towns where I holidayed as a child. When I moved to Australia in the early 1960s Mr Alsop ran a nursery in Box Hill, Melbourne and sold this plant in recycled tin cans. It disappeared from view and memory until one of my kind customers brought a plant in for me. It makes a small evergreen shrub with fabulous silver white felted leaves. Sun loving and drought tolerant. 70cm x 90cm.
This plant is not in our current range and is provided here for customer information only.
