‘Blue Pearl’ is not only beautiful in flower but also has marvellous foliage. The leaves are plum coloured with a blue bloom overlay. Strongly vertical stems carry heads of claret-coloured flowers during summer and autumn. 20cm tall by 35cm across.

Shipping Herbaceous Plants

During the period April to October we commonly ship herbaceous (deciduous & winter dormant) plants without any foliage or stems. This is a normal practice for mail order plants and they should be treated as normal: planted out with a very light watering and then left to their own devices. They will reshoot as the days lengthen and be all the better for the treatment.
