Salvia x jamensis ‘La Siesta’

This is similar to Salvia greggii both in growth and needs but is a hybrid between S. greggii and S. microphylla. We imported ‘La Siesta’ last year from Olivier Filippi’s nursery in the south of France. It makes a twiggy shrub some 60cm tall by as much across and is covered with light coral-pink flowers for most of the warmer months. Tough sun loving drought tolerant plant. Hardy to -5C.
