Salvia uliginosa ‘Blue Ball (Ballon Azul)’

This newly released Salvia carries sky blue flowers with white bee lines held on 80-90cm tall stems clothed with dark green leaves. ‘Ballon Azul’ grows half as tall and wide as older varieties of bog sage. Flowering from mid-summer until late autumn it sways back and forth with every breath of wind. Happy in any sunny spot when given an occasional watering during dry spells. 89-90cm tall by 80cm wide.
