Salvia microphylla ‘Musk Pink’

Salvia microphylla ‘Musk Pink’

Musk sticks aren’t lollies of choice for me although my grandchildren seem to enjoy them. This plant should be called musk stick pink. The musk flower, Mimulus moschatus, of my youth was yellowy browny orange from memory. Musk itself is brownish red. After all that this Salvia is a terrific plant flowering on low shrubby growth from spring until winter. It’s happy in any sunny position both dry and irrigated. We tidy it up during winter cutting it to a 35cm ball.

This plant is not in our current range and is provided here for customer information only.
