Salvia mexicana ‘Lolly Jackson’

Salvia mexicana ‘Lolly Jackson’

A dwarfer form of Salvia mexicana which we’ve had in the garden for over a decade. It makes well-foliaged shrubby growth to about a metre tall by a metre wide. As it is very vigorous it will do this in the first season. During summer and autumn it produces large heads of dark purple flowers set in almost black calyces. It provides a feast for our New Holland Honeyeaters. A covering of straw over the roots in winter will help protect this plant.

This plant is not in our current range and is provided here for customer information only.
