Salvia lavandulifolia
Spanish Sage
A plant of dry Spanish, French and north-west African hillsides and is quite closely related to culinary sage. S. lavandulifolia makes an evergreen shrub some 40cm tall by 80cm across with grey-green foliage and 30cm tall stems of large soft mauve-blue flowers. Spanish sage is happy in any sunny well drained spot and id drought tolerant when once established.
