Radish ‘Rover’ F1 (Raphanus sativus)
‘Rover’ is very quick to crop, holds well in the garden and keeps its round shape even during the hottest of summers. Skin is smooth and dark red, flesh is white and crisp.
When to sow: Spring to autumn
Where to sow: Direct sow in 5 to8cm wide bands
Depth to sow: 1cm
Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add lime if soil is too acid.
Spacing: Between plants: Thin to 4 or Between rows: 40cm
Directions: Plant small quantities regularly so as to harvest the year round.
