Penstemon ‘White Bedder’

For all its modesty this is one of our most popular plants. Frost hardy and evergreen, this is perhaps the best white flowering perennial we know. Penstemons themselves are such tough generous plants, flowering their hearts out for so long that we can take them for granted. They seem to need replacing every 4 or 5 years by removing rooted side shoots to create some new plants. Evergreen and hardy making 60cm x 60cm. A little summer watering but superbly drought-hardy in most regions once established.
