Miscanthus sinensis ‘Puenktchen’

This stunning German-bred selection carries large silver plumes over stiffly upright stems of dark green leaves banded with pale yellow. Perhaps the most strongly vertical of all the Miscanthus and a better all-round plant than the commonplace 'Zebrinus'. Like all Miscanthus it needs a sunny or very lightly shaded spot which doesn’t dry out during summer to perform at its best. Height 180-200cm width 90cm.
