Marigold ‘Mr Majestic Double’ (Tagetes erecta)

Large double flowers with interspersed bright yellow and deep red alternating petals. Suited for cut flowers as well as a grand garden plant it will flower from early summer until mid-autumn. Height 80cm width 60cm.

When to sow: early to late spring
Where to sow: In seed trays under cover or in permanent   spot in the garden when the danger of   frost is over
Depth to sow: 1/2cm
Aspect:  Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil:  Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add lime if soil is too acid.
Spacing: Between plants: 50-60cm

  
Directions:  A tall grower suitable for cut flowers as well as the garden. Dead head occasionally to prolong the display. Height 80cm width 60cm.
