Marigold ‘Ivory’ (Tagetes erecta)
A new strain of marigolds which has large creamy white flowers held above dark green ferny foliage for much of summer and autumn. Great for planting in drifts through the garden. Height 35cm width 30cm.
When to sow: early to late spring
Where to sow: In seed trays under cover or in permanent spot in the garden when the danger of frost is over
Depth to sow: 1/2cm
Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add lime if soil is too acid.
Spacing: Between plants: 50-60cm
Directions: A tall grower suitable for cut flowers as well as the garden. Dead head occasionally to prolong the display. Height 80cm width 60cm.
