Lychnis flos-cuculi ‘Petite Jenny’

This smaller form of Ragged Robin has been a revelation in our garden. The species is a wildflower of the English hedgerows as well as being native to most of northern Europe and parts of Asia. This selected cultivar ‘Petite Jenny’ carries its charming double pink fimbriated flowers each petal being cut and cut again. The flowers are held in 30cm branching stems over evergreen clumps of glossy dark green leaves. Best grown in full sun or vey light shade in a moist well drained spot. Plant 40cm apart.
