Lettuce, Butterhead ‘Sandalina’ (Lactuca sativa)

Lettuce, Butterhead ‘Sandalina’ (Lactuca sativa)

Cool season Butterhead

Suited to spring  and summer, 'Sandalina’ is an outstanding traditional green butterhead variety for harvest throughout the warmer months. A broad elevated base makes it easy to harvest and good vigour means that it resists tipburn effectively. This variety was target bred for the warmer Mediterranean climates, and as such, also performs well for Australian growers. It is strong, slow bolting and suitable for hydroponic and soil production.
