We grew this from seed collected by Marcus Harvey from a wild population growing in Mani Peninsula in southern Greece. It flowers prolifically here at Lambley from early May until September. The evergreen, gracefully arching, long, narrow leaves are quite grass like in effect. The soft lilac flowers are displayed well above the foliage mounds. This species can be grown in full sun or in a dry shady position.
