Variegated Japanese Temple Grass

This makes a graceful plant with fine arching creamy lime green leaves with soft green pencilling. This grass of the Japanese woodlands can be seen lining the path below the avenue of cedars leading up to the Mt. Fuji Shrine. The Japanese Temple Grass is best grown in light to medium shade.  The United States based Perennial Plant Association named this as Perennial Plant of the Year in 2009. The Royal Horticultural Society's has given it the highest accolade the Award of Garden Merit. 30cm tall by 50cm wide.
