Echinops bannaticus ‘Star Frost’
White Globe Flower
Echinops is a favourite genus of ours and we grow quite a lot of varieties in the garden. During late spring and summer ‘Star Frost’ has silvery white balls of flowers which are held well above the foliage mound. Echinops are tough plants if their few wants are catered for. The main one is good depth of soil to satisfy their thong like roots. A depth of at least 15cm is needed. 80cm by 60cm.
