Digitalis purpurea 'Mirabelle'
A new first year flowering strain of foxgloves, a mixture of four colours, white, pale pink, mid-pink and purple. If seed is sown during August and early September the plants will bloom the following summer. Plants from seed sown later will produce flowers the following spring/summer.
When to sow: August/ September or late summer and autumn.
Where to sow: In seed trays or in situ
Depth to sow: 1/4 cm
Aspect: Full sun or light shade
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil.
Spacing: Between plants: 50-60cm
Directions: Sow seed 1/4 cm deep in their permanent position in the garden during August or early September for flowering in the first year. Sow seed late summer and autumn for flowering the following year.
