Crocus chrysanthus ‘Cream Beauty’
Crocus chrysanthus ‘Cream Beauty’ has rich cream flowers. The cultivars of this species are amongst the showiest and easiest to grow of all Crocus. They increase well as long as they are planted in a spot which gets winter sun. In our garden they are planted under herbaceous perennials where they grow, flower and die down before the perennials get going in mid spring. Whilst they are happy in a summer dry position they also do well in areas that are irrigated. Plant 10cm deep. We add a little ground lime stone to our acid soil when planting.
