Corn Salad ‘Vit’
Anyone who has ever eaten corn salad, or mache as it is known in Europe, knows just how wonderful a winter salad green it is. A cool season vegetable I pick enough for a salad several times a week from the end of May until spring. It has a soft nutty flavour not in any way bitter. ‘Vit’ is the best corn salad strain that I’ve grown. Plant mid autumn until mid-winter.
