Treated as an annual in frosty regions this climbing vine with its large purple violet bell shaped flowers which appear from mid summer until well into autumn. The purple colour deepens as the flower matures. Fast growing vine in the warmer seasons to 3 metres by as much across. Flowering for all the warmer months in milder areas.
