Clematis x jackmanii ‘John Paul II’

Clematis x jackmanii ‘John Paul II’

‘John Paul’ is a delicious hybrid from the Polish monk and clematis breeder, Brother Stefan Francsak. The large flowers open blush pink with a deeper pink bar through the middle of each petal. As it ages the flower fades to a soft creamy blush. Free flowering and vigorous in growth, it will make 2.5 to 3 metres in height. If cut down to about 30cm in the winter and again after the first flush of flowers is finished in early summer it will produce two flushes of flowers.
