Clematis x jackmanii ‘Huldine’
This was raised by the French nurseryman, Morel, before the World War I and is surely one of the most elegant of all Clematis. I grow it on a trellis which hides an outside dunny. Clematis ‘Huldine’ flowers for months and months from spring until autumn. Exquisite white flowers have a rosy violet bar on the back of each petal. A vigorous plant growing 2 – 3 metres tall. Cut back hard during winter, earlier rather than later.
