Clematis tangutica ‘Golden Tiara’
Golden Tiara Old Man’s Beard
We’ve had this growing on a fence for some years now and appreciate it more and more. It produces its deep rich lemon waxy flowers from early summer until autumn. Each flower gives way to a showy silver haired seed head. By winter the whole plant looks as though it’s covered by a grey fluffy beard. We cut it back to 50cm each winter. One of the most drought tolerant of Clematis. 200cm x 200cm.
