Clematis ‘Petit Faucon (TM) ’
‘Petit Faucon’ is a nonclimbing, scrambling clematis with violet-purple nodding or outward facing flowers from late spring until autumn. The stamens have rosy purple filaments and golden yellow anthers. Charming when allowed to scramble around and through shrubs and perennials in the flower border it will also make a marvellous pot plant. Cut back to near ground level during winter. ‘Petit Faucon’ is a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit Plant. This award is given to plants that are both beautiful and perform well in the garden. Happy in any sunny or lightly shaded spot. Height 120-180cm. ‘Petit Faucon’ translates to Little Falcon.
