Ceratostigma willmotiana ‘Alba’
Genuinely rare and difficult to obtain in this country, this tough, frost hardy and drought tolerant new form of Tibetan Plumbago has pure white flowers on a tidier bush. I grow this plant in a drift in the dry garden where its late summer and autumn pure white flowers held in clusters on the end of leafy wiry stems are a joy. There is a second treat when the leaves make a flash of crimson, scarlet and pink during late autumn. Happy in a sunny or lightly shaded spot. 70cm x 80cm.
