Softer red plumes are produced on strong 60cm tall stems make this a plant for both the garden and for cutting. Easy to grow in full sun after frosts have passed or started indoors or under cover in early spring.

When to sow: Early spring under cover or late spring in situ
Where to sow: In seed trays, pots or direct sow
Depth to sow: 3 to 5mm
Aspect:  Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil:  Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil.
Spacing:  Between plants: 30cm to 50cm
   

 

Directions:  Sow seed under cover early spring and plant out in a permanent spot 6 to 8 weeks later or direct sow when frost danger is over.
