Broccoli, Bunching Baby 'BC 1611' F1
BC1611 is a terrific new variety of baby bunching Broccoli producing lots of 20cm long, tender, bright green stems and small heads. This variety doesn’t need pinching out.
When to sow: Late winter to early autumn
Where to sow: Direct into prepared bed
Depth to sow: 1cm
Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add lime if soil is too acid.
Spacing: Between plants 20cm
Between rows 40cm
Directions: Seed is best planted straight into the garden 3 seeds per station, 1cm deep and 20cm apart with 40cm between rows. Thin to one seedling.
