Wood’s Red Bearberry
A rare and drought-tolernat prostrate shrub evergreen shrub from California with dark green leathery leaves the size of a five cent coin and pale pink lily-of-the-valley flowers followed in the autumn with showy red berries. ‘Wood’s Red’ is happy in a well drained position in sun or light shade even in poor soils and is drought hardy once established. It will eventually make a plant some 15cm tall by 80cm across.
