Anemone ‘Elegans’ is a winner of Royal Horticultural Society’s prestigious Award of Garden Merit. Carrying its large soft pink flowers on 90cm tall stems it is one of the glories of late summer and autumn as long as it is given regular summer watering. Definitely not for a dry garden. Best planted in light shade but will flourish in full sun if given good humus rich soil.
