We have imported fresh seed of this majestic plant from a wild source. The strains sold in the past are more than likely not true Verbascum olympicum. A native of dry places in Greece and Turkey, Verbascum olympicum produces grand 2 to 3 metre tall multi-stemmed columns of warm yellow flowers. A superb species which if planted this autumn or early winter should flower next season. The silvery grey basal rosette will make up to 90cm across.
