Narcissus ‘W.P. Milner’
Sarah Raven writes that “.....’W.P. Milner’ is one of the best ever daffs for growing right at the front or in a prominent pot. It looks good for months.” It grew by the thousand in the Boulters Olinda nursery when I worked there 45 years ago. It had naturalised under trees, Rhododendrons, camellias and anywhere else it could find a vacant spot. Its soft lemon and white slightly hanging flowers are a joy. It grows 25cm tall and needs a spacing of 30cm if naturalising; much closer if not, and about 10 bulbs to a 20cm pot. It flowers during September.
