Hibiscus syriacus ‘Red Ensign’

One of the most beautiful of the frost hardy Hibiscus which has startlingly beautiful white flowers with a magenta-red centre. Happy in any sunny spot in the garden. A good cutting back by about a third will keep it healthy and floriferous. I grow it as a small standard. Hibiscus syriacus is native to China but was brought to western Asia via the Silk Road. 200cm - 300cm by 150cm.
