I first saw this plant in Joy Hawthorne’s garden in Sassafras more than twenty years ago. Mrs Hawthorne had raised it from seed collected in Bulgaria. It is the best ground cover in our dry garden where it has made yard wide carpets underneath a group of tree aloes. During late spring and summer the fresh green leaved stems are smothered by clear light yellow flowers. Tolerates dryness and needs a sunny spot. 15cm x 100cm.
