Cabbage Early Mini ‘Farao’ F1 (Organic) (Brassica oleracea)

Farao is a delicious spring cabbage quickly making 1kg heads from a late winter planting. It takes summer heat very well too so a late spring planting is worthwhile. When to sow: Late-winter to late spring
Where to sow: Seed tray, pots or in a garden seed bed
Depth to sow: 1/2cm
Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil:Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add lime if soil is too acid.
Spacing: Between plants 30cm; Between rows 30cm x 40cm

Directions: If grown under cover when the first two true leaves appear harden the seedlings off by taking them outside on a cool cloudy day. Keep watered. When the seedlings are 6-8cm tall plant in the garden. First remove the seed leaves (cotyledons) and plant up to the first set of true leaves. Water in.
