This new catmint is much neater than older varieties making a tidy mound of grey leaves topped for most of the late spring summer and autumn with lavender-blue flowers. It will grow 30cm tall by 40cm across. Trim spent flowers from time to time to extend the season.
This new catmint carries masses of large, light violet blue flowers on stiffly upright 80cm tall stems which are well clothed in grey-green foliage. Happy in any sunny well drained spot it will flower throughout the warmer months. Cut back hard in winter. 80cm by 60cm.
This is the catmint featured in the English coffee table gardening books. Sadly a second rate plant is still being sold as this in Australia. We grow it in front of a stone wall in a bed that is never watered.
